According to his official website, White’s next release will be recorded, pressed, and on sale, all within hours. He’s touting it as the “World’s Fastest Released Record.”
Musician Jack White is going to great lengths to prove he is as speedy as he is talented.
The Grammy Award-winning artist plans to record, press, and sell a new record in just one day – less, really – in honor of Record Store Day at Third Man Records in Nashville, Tenn.

At 10 a.m. on April 19, White will record what will be the limited edition version of "Lazaretto," the title track from his upcoming album.
Promptly thereafter, the master recordings will be sent off for pressing so that they're ready to sell by 4 p.m. on that very same day.
While they wait, patrons will see Whirlwind Heat’s first show since 2006. This set is also rumored to be their last.
According to his official site, White hopes to set the Guinness World Record for the world's fastest released record.
