"14-year-old Aitazaz Hassan Bangash is being hailed as a hero in Pakistan for tackling a suicide bomber -- dying at the main gate of his school and saving schoolmates gathered for their morning assembly.


'The other students backed off, but Aitazaz challenged the bomber and tried to catch him. During the scuffle, the bomber panicked and detonated his bomb,' he said."

Alex Travis, 17, noticed a sinking car in a nearby reservoir and instinctively dove into the water to the rescue Stuart Deland, 93, from drowning.


With the car almost completely underwater, Alex broke the window and carried the man 15 feet to shore.


"It didn't even feel real to me," he said. "I didn't really feel like it was that big of a deal. It was the right thing to do. It doesn't make me a hero."
