Drones often make headlines for their roles as military weapons or as potential e-commerce delivery systems, but they're also one of the most versatile and exciting new tools for professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers. Take this video, shot by Shaun O'Callaghan in Vanuatu. Using a DJI Phantom quadcopter, O'Callaghan was (amazingly!) able to fly right into the heart of an erupting volcano, dodging projectile chunks of molten lava. The resulting footage doesn't disappoint.
