Using data from IMDbPro and Box Office Mojo, BuzzFeed has mapped out the top-grossing domestic movies filmed in each state.

Forrest Gump, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and The Avengers make the most appearances, with four states each. The Transformers franchise appears more than any other, with nine appearances between its three films.

Shia LaBeouf is the actor with the most films that made the map, with nine, for his role as Sam Witwicky in the Transformers franchise. Dobert Downey Jr. appears in six states for his role as Tony Stark in Iron Man 3 and The Avengers. Tom Hanks appears five times for his role as Forrest Gump and Chuck Noland in Cast Away.

The top-grossing movie filmed in the United States is Avatar — filmed in California and Hawaii — which grossed $760 million in the U.S. The lowest-grossing movie to make the map is Fargo, which was filmed in North Dakota and Minnesota and grossed only $24 million in the U.S.

There are only 13 states with a movie where no filming was done in California.
