14 Bands You Probably Didn't Know Were Manufactured By TV Shows

Remember American Juniors , the kid version of American Idol ? We’re so, so sorry.

Day 26

They were the last to win Diddy's edition of MTV's Making the Band. Somehow they managed to get two No. 1 albums on the Billboard U.S. R&B charts. The band parted ways in July of 2012, but they jumped on the reunion bandwagon and announced they would be putting their beefs aside to put out new music.

Girlicious

This girl group was supposed to be the second-coming of the Pussycat Dolls movement. Their show Pussycat Dolls Presents: Girlicious was filled with drama, and it was captivating. Sadly, they couldn't carry that over to their music. But they'll always have their MuchMusic Video Award and the memories of opening for The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.

TLC feat O so Krispie

R U the Girl was supposed to help TLC find that third member to replace TLC. But as the episodes aired, we all came to a collective agreement that none of the girls could compare to Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. RIP.

Danity Kane

Like Day 26, these ladies were also a brain child of Diddy on Making the Band. Sadly, their two No. 1 Billboard 200 records weren't enough for Diddy to exile them from Bad Boy Records. They, too, have reunited (minus D. Woods) and are putting out new music this year.
