When you look at the data, it turns out that love is still far from blind.
The data teams at dating apps Are You Interested and OkCupid analyzed millions of interactions to see the extent to which race played a role in determining response rates. What did they find?
For example: Men replied most to Asian women, except for Asian men, who replied most to Latina women.
White women were twice as likely to respond to white men as to black men.
And Middle Eastern women were far and away the most popular group, with one in two men writing back to them.
