Happiest Mug Shot Ever!

A Colorado man seems in good spirits despite his run-in with the law, giving police a toothy grin after he was arrested on a robbery charge.

Michael Whitington, 45, of Denver, is accused of robbing a bank and then trying to escape on a local train, the Denver District Attorney's Office told ABC's affiliate KMGH-TV in Denver.

Police managed to stop the train and arrest Whitington on Tuesday.

Whitington was in police custody today with a bond set at $5,000.

He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Tuesday.

Wanted Poster for Person of Interest in UVA Case

A wanted poster was released today for Jesse Matthew, the man police believe was the last person to see missing the University of Virginia student Hannah Graham.

Matthew, 32, faces two counts of reckless driving, but police want to speak to him about Graham’s disappearance. They have not charged him in connection to the missing student, but they have searched his apartment twice and seized his car.

Matthew’s burnt orange 1998 Chrysler has been seized by police, but the wanted poster states that Matthew is believed to be driving his sister's car, a light blue Nissan Sentra.

Police said on the poster that Matthew has associates in Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York in addition to his home state of Virginia.

Matthew arrived at the Charlottesville police department on Saturday, asked for a lawyer, but later sped away in the car, prompting the warrant for his arrest for dangerous driving.

By now everyone has watched the disturbing surveillance video showing Baltimore Ravens star running back Ray Rice can be seen dragging his unconscious fiancee out of elevator after alleged mutual attack. If not you can watch the video here. But let’s talk about sports and role models for a moment.

The NFL should set a strong example here of their stand against domestic violence! Shame on the NFL for waiting for the video to be leaked before they do any thing. Before the video, all Rice got was a 2 game suspension, after the video hit the Internet they changed it to a indefinite suspension.  WTF?

The NFL seen the video before we did! It was not until it was leaked and the out pour of disgust did they actually do any thing serious about it. Watch the video and ask yourself, if you were the owner of the Baltimore Ravens and you seen this video, what would you do?

Robin Williams Dead At 63 Suspected Suicide

At this time, the Sheriff's Office Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made," the Marin County Coroner said in a statement. "A forensic examination is currently scheduled for August 12, 2014 with subsequent toxicology testing to be conducted.

Robin Williams was Bipolar and was battling a serious bout of severe depression. He will be missed. R.I.P. Robin!

Message to the GOP– Open Your Eyes!

Here is my message to the GOP. Hey guys, I’m a long time Independent. I realize I am way too liberal to ever get any respect from the GOP today. But that’s OK because truth be told I can even be too conservative to be a true liberal too. Though I certainly lean more left. Specially these days and that is all because of the direction the GOP has been going these last couple of decades. You have no moderates left, you chased them out. What you fail to see or understand is Americans love diversity. The Democratic Party is very diverse. They have their liberals, their moderates and their conservatives and they all respect each other! The GOP is not like that at all, though there was a time it was. These days the GOP is all conservative with no room or tolerance for any moderates or liberals.

That is the cause to your failure to attract more younger voters, more minorities or more independent thinkers. You have become a relic from the past as you cling to your right wing extremists. You cater to the religious right. You chase away anyone who dares not to be your brand of conservative. You actually betray your own core beliefs in conservatism. Government has no place to decide what marriage is and who can or can not get married.

But worst yet, you strike me as a very selfish party. No compassion and any compassion shown just seems fake to me. I agree with Obama when you told congress to “stop all the hating”. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even be in the same room with a conservative because all they take about is killing Obama Care, immigration, welfare fraud, and just bending over backwards to support big business. I wish you used just half of that energy and enthusiasm you have defending big business for the working class and the poor!

You are no longer relevant to me and merely a relic from the past. Your heading towards extinction and you can’t even see that! OPEN YOUR EYES! Snap out of your blind partisan madness! Allow some diversity in your party and you may once again become respected.

The Video Kim Jung un does NOT want you to see!

Dictators never seem to have much of a sense of humor, and North Korea's Kim Jong Un is no exception.

Kim is trying to get China to pull the plug on a satirical video that, with some not-so-subtle digital trickery, shows him dancing, running, getting poked in the butt by a rocket and more, all set to catchy music. He also gets repeatedly pranked -- often by President Barack Obama.

North Korean officials say the clip "seriously compromises Kim's dignity and authority," South Korea's Chosun Ilbun newspaper reports.

Naturally, China has been unable to help because once something is online, it's online forever. And Kim doesn't seem to know Rule 19 of the Internet: The more you hate it, the stronger it gets.

This is not the only video that has Pyongyang going ballistic. The nation recently threatened a "resolute and merciless response" over the upcoming Seth Rogan/James Franco film, "The Interview."

Colorado Restaurant 'Shooters" Goes Open Carry

 

Every morning, Lauren Bobert starts the day by getting ready for work. She puts on her make-up, fixes her near-perfect hair, and puts on a sparkly belt.

But the 27-year-old mother of four isn’t fully dressed until she straps on her loaded 9 mm semiautomatic handgun.

Bobert and her husband run a restaurant called the Shooters Grill. When they opened it a year ago in their hometown of Rifle, Colorado, going with a “gun theme” seemed natural. But Bobert took it one step further and began carrying a loaded weapon on her hip in public.

“I wanted to start carrying just for my protection. This is my establishment, so I didn’t see anything wrong with that,” she said. “[So] I began to open carry.”

It’s legal in Colorado to open carry handguns and Bobert isn’t the only one packing heat inside her restaurant. Most of the restaurant’s wait staff also open carry. The restaurant is so popular, Bobert said they sometimes sell out of food. She denies the armed staff is a gimmick for Shooters Grill, saying it’s about expressing their right to defend themselves.

"My firearms have nothing to do with the amazing hamburgers we cook," Bobert said. "Actually, the food that we cook is what started all this."

What’s happening at Shooters Grill is an offshoot of a controversial movement that started in Texas. A group of gun-carrying activists that calls itself “Open Carry Texas” brazenly flex their legal right to bear arms by carrying around assault rifles in public. The group’s mission is to raise awareness of existing gun rights and to expand those rights. Texas law says it is legal to openly carry so-called “long guns” like assault rifles, but the open carry of handguns is prohibited. Open Carry Texas’ enthusiasm for packing heat in public has led national chains including Chipotle, Chili’s and Jack in the Box to post signs asking customers to leave firearms at home.

Best Friends to Killers: Teens Murder Friend Because They 'Didn't Like Her'

Best friends and high school sophomores Skylar Neese, Shelia Eddy and Rachel Shoaf were inseparable.

Living in Morgantown, West Virginia, the 16-year-olds were pretty and sociable, taking selfies and spending time together.

But everything changed on July 6, 2012, when Neese’s parents discovered she was missing. Six months later, Shoaf told authorites that she and Eddy had stabbed their best friend Neese to death.

At 16, Skyler Neese was thriving, according to her parents. Neese had a 4.0 grade point average, a part-time job at a fast food restaurant and an active social life.

She was Dave and Mary Neese’s only child.

“Skylar was a very bubbly person,” Dave Neese told ABC News’ “20/20.” “She was also very loyal to her friends, the people she thought was her friends.”

Skylar Neese met her best friend Shelia Eddy at age 8.

“She was like a part of our family. She really was,” Dave Neese said. “I mean, just like one of our kids.”

While entering her freshman year in high school in September 2010, Eddy met Rachel Shoaf. The next month Eddy transferred to the same high school as Skylar Neese, and Shoaf also soon became friends with Skylar Neese.

Before long the three teens began to argue among themselves.

Bethenny Frankel Poses In Her 4-Year-Old Daughter's Clothes

Former "Real Housewives of New York" cast member Bethenny Frankel decided to put on her four year old daughters clothes and post it on Instagram, bethennyfrankel.

There is some thing a little creepy about this if you ask me. Some thing about a 43-year-old SkinnyGirl putting on her 4-year-old daughter Bryn's Hello Kitty pajamas, snapping a photo of herself and sharing it online. I dunno, just seems a bit odd?

North Korea Files Complaint With U.N. About The Interview Comedy

Apparently North Korea has no sense of humor or ability to recognize a comedy let alone understand it or appreciate it.

North Korea filed a complaint with the United Nations over "The Interview," a film starring James Franco and Seth Rogen that tackles an unlikely plot to kill Kim Jong Un. North Korea's ambassador to the U.N., Ja Song Nam, wrote a letter to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on June 27, stating that the movie is an "act of war."

"The United States authorities should take immediate and appropriate actions to ban the production and distribution of the aforementioned film," he wrote. "Otherwise, it will be fully responsible for encouraging and sponsoring terrorism."

Due out Oct. 10, "The Interview" follows Franco and Rogen as, respectively, a talk show host and producer who land an interview with North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un. The CIA then tasks them with a plot to assassinate the dictator.

The film has already stirred up controversy with North Korean officials. "There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society," Kim Myong-chol, executive director of The Centre for North Korea-US Peace and an "unofficial spokesman" for Kim Jong-un's regime, told The Telegraph. (He also said that Kim Jong-un will probably watch the film anyway.)

Prostitute Alix Tichelman Sipped WIne As She Watched Google Exec Die of Heroin Overdose

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (AP) — A high-end prostitute has been arrested on suspicion of murder after injecting heroin into a Google executive on his yacht in Santa Cruz and leaving him to die when he overdosed, according to police.

Surveillance footage from the yacht shows the suspect, Alix Tichelman, 26, gather her belongings, including the heroin and needles, step over the 51-year-old victim's body to finish a glass of wine and then lower a blind before leaving the boat, Santa Cruz police said Tuesday.

Authorities said Tichelman, of Folsom, did not provide first aid or call 911 as the man suffered medical complications and went unconscious during the November overdose. His body was discovered the next morning by the boat's captain, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported.

"She showed no regard for him. She was just trying to cover her tracks," Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark told the Sentinel.

Tichelman was arrested on July 4 after police said a detective lured her back to the Santa Cruz area by posing as a potential client and reaching agreement on a price of more than $1,000.

She was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder, destruction of evidence and transporting and providing narcotics. It was not immediately clear whether she had an attorney.

The Sentinel identified the victim as Forrest Timothy Hayes, a Google executive and father of five, and said the overdose occurred on his 50-foot yacht, Escape, at the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor.

Tichelman, who boasted she had more than 200 clients, met her clients through a website, police said.

Lindsay Lohan Sues Rockstar Games Over Grand Theft Auto 5

Lindsay Lohan takes Rockstar Games to court over their latest Grand Theft Auto 5 game claiming they are using her likeness without her permission. While the character in question, Lacey Jonas is a cartoon and modeled after a live model, there are some striking resemblances and or references to Lindsay Lohan. Whether it's enough to win a lawsuite we shall see.

The actress filed suit Wednesday in a Manhattan court against Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and its subsidiaries, Rockstar Games and Rockstar North, over the character of Lacey Jones from the game "Grand Theft Auto V." This bikini shot was used based on model Shelby Welinder. Check out her Twitter account @ShelbyWelinder where she is currently talking about all this.

According to the suit, Lohan alleges the company based the character on her and "incorporated her image, likeness, clothing, outfits, Plaintiff's clothing line products, ensemble in the form of hats, hair style, sunglasses, jean shorts worn by Plaintiff that were for sale to the public at least two years before the Defendant's release of the GTA V game."

The suit goes on to say that "the game also features Hotel Chateau (Marmont) in West Hollywood, a place where the Plaintiff once lived and often frequents."

In the popular video game, the character is an actress who complains of being pursued by paparazzi and asks another character to help her flee. The character utters such lines as, "They cannot get a shot of me," and "How's my hair? Do I look cute?" In an e-mail, a spokeman for the company told CNN, "It is our company policy to not comment on legal matters."

I will keep an eye on this case. It's obvious Rockstar modeled the character after Lindsay nuit will it be enough to win a lawsuite? Mixed opinions from legal annalists. The bottom line will be, unless Lohan can prove that Rockstar blatantly ripped off her image for GTA, a series that's notorious for its parodies, it doesn't seem like this case will have much traction.

Michelle Obama Battles Obesity and GOP

Here is a topic I can get behind Michelle Obama on! Obesity is a major problem in the USA and effects much added costs to health insurance. Why not tackle it from the beginning, at school?! Now this may or may not be a political play for the First Lady and I really don't care because this is a case where the issue is important enough it should trump politics. And as some of you may be aware, I show no favoritism to any political party. I'm too liberal for conservatives, and too conservatives for liberals and guess what? I'm happy to be that way. I know I must be doing some thing right.

Michelle has drawn the battle line and for that I respect her! She's fighting a House Republican effort to soften a central part of her prized anti-childhood obesity campaign and says she's ready "to fight until the bitter end." At a time when her husband is lagging in approval ratings too. Most First Ladies might shy away from such hot polarizing topics, but not Michelle Obama and for that I am truly grateful!

Mrs. Obama even mocked the GOP effort in an opinion column and argued her case on Twitter.

"Remember a few years ago when Congress declared that the sauce on a slice of pizza should count as a vegetable in school lunches?" she wrote in The New York Times. "You don't have to be a nutritionist to know that this doesn't make much sense. Yet we're seeing the same thing happening again with these new efforts to lower nutrition standards in our schools."

Give those GOPer's hell Michelle! And btw, she is the next most beautiful First Lady since Jacqueline Kennedy! Yea you heard me and it's true too!  Not only was Jacqueline beautiful but she was also loved the world over.  Considered a kind of American Royalty, yet she was called simply, Jackie.

I see Michelle Obama much the same way now, though I will admit she did have a rocky start, she managed to get every thing in control including her First Lady appearance and status. Not a easy task for the nations first black First Lady. Of course it helped that she was also beautiful but you need more then just looks to pull this kind of magic off, you need charisma, and Michelle has got it too.

Back to Obessity, The School Nutrition Association, an industry-backed group that represents school cafeteria workers and originally supported the standards, has now turned against them. The association says it fully supports getting kids to eat healthier but says many districts are losing money because students aren't buying the healthier lunches. As you can imagine there is a lot of politics going on in the background here. But this issue should not be shyed from or ignored. We need to address it openly and honestly!

Robin Thicke's hashtag #askthicke totally backfires on Twitter!

Despite the fact that pretty much everyone has been sick of Thicke for a very long time now, someone, somewhere, I think at VH1 has decided that this is an opportune moment to do a Twitter Q&A with Robin Thicke and other humans. So far, it hasn't gone very well. Starting Monday this week, everyone and their mother has been joining the fun in being totally rude on Twitter's hashtag #askthicke. They have shown him no mercy and it is still going strong even as we speak later in the week lol.
